Brief History
The Henderson-Nina Water System was incorporated in 1966. A private non-profit corporation began with 268 members signed up for service, currently there are approximately 1450 members. The system is run by a 5 member Board of Directors, the System Manager, Office Clerk, Office Assistant and 3 Certified Operators. The Henderson-Nina Water System staff of 6 handles the entire operation of the plant and office including general maintenance, leak repairs, new meter installations, line extensions, meter reading, billing, collection, bookkeeping, and accounting. Outside parties handle Payroll and the Annual Audit of Financials.
